Perfect Password

A woman was helping her husband set up his computer, and at the
appropriate point in the process, the computer advised him that
he would now need to enter a password. Something he will use to log
on.

The husband was in a rather amorous mood and figured he would
try for the shock effect to bring this to his wife's attention.
So, when the computer asked him to enter his password, he made
it plainly obvious to his wife what he was entering by stating each
letter out loud as he typed.....
P...
E...
N....
I...
S.

His wife fell off her chair laughing when the computer replied:

***PASSWORD REJECTED. NOT LONG ENOUGH** !

Port Elizabeth, South Africa!!

Hi everybody I was thinking what could I post today so I thought I would give all of you a tour of my home town Port Elizabeth to show you how beautiful it is. I was not born here but relocated here at the age of two with my parents. So sit back relax, get some beer, coldrinks, your smokes, put your feet up and enjoy the tour with your personal tour guide Whatalotoffun. Hope you all enjoy the tour and that you would put Port Elizabeth on your list of places to visit. If you do, look me up and I will gladly show you around

1.
Erected to commemorate the landing of the 1820 British Settlers, the Campanile is situated at the entrance of the railway station and harbour. The 53.5 m Campanile contains a chiming clock and the largest carillon of bells in the country, in addition to its chiming clock. The Observation Room can be reached by climbing a 204-step staircase, offering a magnificent experience and view not to be missed.

2.
The oldest Library in PE.

3.
Art venues include the King George VI, EPSAC and Cuyler Street galleries. Theatrical productions are staged at a number of venues, including the Opera House (a fine example of a Victorian theatre and the only one still in use in South Africa), and the beautifully refurbished Feather Market Centre, an outstanding concert hall and conference centre.

4.

The 5 km Donkin Heritage Trail links 47 places of historical interest in the old Hill area of central Port Elizabeth. The useful pedestrian signage orientates tourists along the self-guided trail. The Donkin Reserve was proclaimed a public open space in perpetuity by Sir Rufane Donkin. It includes a stone pyramid monument, with a touching inscription, erected by Sir Rufane Donkin in memory of his late wife, Elizabeth, after whom the city was named. The Lighthouse, built in 1861, also houses the city's Tourist Information Centre.

5.
Fort Frederick is a 1799 stone fort built by the British Forces to defend the mouth of the Baakens River. It was named after Frederick, Duke of York, and was built by English troops. The English troops were sent to Algoa Bay to assist the Graaff-Reinet rebels in preventing a possible landing of French soldiers. Yet, ironically, no shot was ever fired in anger from the Fort.

6.
The Horse Memorial, located on the corner of Russell and Cape Roads, was erected and dedicated to the horses killed during the South African War (1899-1902). This magnificent statue is reputed to be one of only three memorials in the world dedicated to horses.

7.

The beautiful, colonial City Hall, which is located on Market Square, was built between 1858 and 1862. The attractive clock tower was added in 1883 and proclaimed a national monument in 1973. Also in the Square is a replica of the Diaz Cross, donated by the Portuguese Government to commemorate the epic arrival of Bartholomew Diaz in Algoa Bay in 1488.

8.

The Eastern Cape is a surprisingly good game-viewing destination with three national parks, and one provincial park. You could do day trips to Addo Elephant National Park, Shamwari, the Baviaanskloof. The Addo National Park, most famed for its elephants, has a huge variety of game.

9.

Versatile Sardinia Bay, a Marine Reserve with miles of unspoilt coastline and crystal clear water, is excellent for diving, horse riding and scenic walks or hikes. Algoa Bay boasts 40 km of magnificent coast-line and protected beaches, complemented by a perfect combination of warm water, calm sea and fair breezes. These beaches include King's Beach, Humewood Beach, Hobie Beach, Pollock Beach, Brighton Beach, Bluewater Bay, St George's Strand and Wells Estate.

10.
Bayworld offers a "must see" attraction of daily seal and dolphin shows, fish feeding and the interesting, educational Oceanarium and Snake Park.

11.
The Boardwalk Casino and Entertainment World has been designed to be a “must see” attraction with a full mix of family fun, entertainment, shopping, dining and gaming. Located in Summerstrand, the complex is set around a series of man-made lakes and beautiful gardens lit by 40 000 Tivoli lights

How fairy tales should end!!!

This is the fairy tale that we should have been reading as little
girls!

Once upon a time,
in a land far away,
a beautiful, independent
self-assured princess
happened upon a frog as she sat,
contemplating ecological issues
on the shores of an unpolluted pond
in a verdant meadow near her castle.
The frog hopped into the princess' lap and said: Elegant Lady, I
was
once a handsome prince, until an evil witch cast a spell upon me.
One kiss from you, however,
and I will turn back
into the dapper, young prince that I am and then, my sweet, we can
marry and set up housekeeping in your castle with my mother, where
you can prepare my meals, clean my clothes, bear my children, and
forever feel grateful and happy doing so.
That night,
as the princess dined sumptuously
on lightly sautéed frog legs
seasoned in a white wine
and onion cream sauce,
she chuckled and thought to herself:
I don't f**kin' think so

The next FHM swimsuit cover girl!!!!

This photo was taking on our holiday at Van Stadens Resort. We were there for 3 weeks and she enjoyed every single day of it. The people in the camp site knew me already because I had to walk with her in her pram every night to get her to sleep she did not want to sleep. Around and Around the campsite I went. Van Stadens is just about 35km outside my home town. She is such a good child. She loves water and the sand. Every day I took her down to the lagoon to play. She even took part in Little Miss van Stadens but she was to small the age group started from 3 years and she was only 1year and 6months. I just entered her in for fun. Will get the photo and publish it for you. We even had our own father Christmas (my hubby) will publish those photos soon.

Poor little duckling!!!

I grew up on a small holding about 30km outside Port Elizabeth, Greenbushes. That was some childhood. Was a real tomboy. Climbing trees, catching animals to keep as my pets, swimming in our dam (because we did not have a swimming pool then). I went to the farm school. The bus would pick me up infront of my house and drop me off again in the afternoon.

Once I caught a wild duckling on our dam. Still today I cant remember how I actually did catch the little duckling. It was only a few days old, it still had the little sharp edge on his beak to crack the egg open (don't know what you call it)Put it became my pet. Cant remember what I called it.
I used a baby bath for him in the day to swim in while I was in school and in the afternoons I will take him to one of the smaller dams for a swim and to eat plankton in the water. I even took him to school the one day for a oral. I only had him for a week. My little sister was about 4 years old and stayed with the maid in the day. On the Friday afternoon when I came home I found my little duckling pet floating in the baby bath. I started crying. I went to my little sister and asked her what happened to my pet. So she said she only played with him by pushing him under the water, she wanted to see how he swims under water.

My sister drowned my little duckling.

The "P" Signs of getting old

This was a good joke for me this morning and its so true will translate it in English for those who cant read Afrikaans.

Jy is oud as jy op die "P - Stadium" is:-
>
> "Pramme op Pens, Pens op Parra, Parra op Pote en Pote in
>Pantoffels....!"
>

>You are getting old when you get to the "P" - stadium

>Tits on stomach, stomach on Vagina, vagina on feet and feet into slippers.

Hope it made you laugh to

So proud of her

On Sunday she went with daddy so long to our friends so I can get her thing together to take with. I had to go to Pick & Pay (our convenient store)to get her a pack of diapers because hers was running low. I went to the swimming pool part, was looking for a pool noodle for her so I saw the Pollyotters so I got one for her (got damn expensive R200).

It was so busy. It normally is on a Saturday. So I had to stand in the queue (suppose to be a express till for baskets only) This one lady infront of us did her shopping with baskets holding us up which only had about 2 to 5 items she had about 25. After waiting for about a Half an hour. (Yes its suppose to be a express till.) She was very picky too waited for prices on mugs then helping friends (did shopping to waited for her with their full trolley) buying airtime for them while waiting for the prices on the mugs. That was the pits felt like taking her groceries and throwing it off the conveyer belt. She still had the nerve to say "Sorry for the delay" So the couple infront of me just went of on her saying she's being unfair she should be at the normal queues. Then she had another nerve to say that she has baskets to. I had to count to 10 about 50 times not to loose my temper cause I would let her have it.

So eventually I got to our friends house. Put the pollyotter on for Danielle and in the water we went at first she could not balance her that good. After 10 min she was swimming on her own, jumping in the swimming pool and turning herself around in the water(and she is only 1 year and 8months). I was so amazed. R200 well spent. Do you think she wanted to get out the water NO way that was a battle. Any parents out there with little ones. You can really invest in one of those. That will be the best thing you could buy for them.

Now when we are outside I will put it on for her so if she falls into the swimming pool she will be able to swim out. (although she's always under my strict supervision when we are outside). Accidents happens so quick and it only takes them 2 min not even to drown.
