Heartache and Water!!!

It has struck us again lots of rain. This time it was a little worse then last. Roads were washed away, trees fell, people missing. You can read and see pictures here its one of our local newspapers The Herald. You can search yourself to all the stories.

My brother-in-laws best friend lost his 3 year old daughter she drowned. The water swept their car off the road and into the Baakens River. She was washed out her moms arms by the strong current of the water. They were searching for about 6 hours before they found her little body. That was so hart struck news when my mom phoned me to tell me.

We were driving in hubbies 4x4 on our way to the Spur for a birthday party when we saw the people searching in the woods off the road not far from were we stay. They said they were looking for a little girl. The one road was closed so we had to turn around to the other side. I only found out the evening who the little girl was that they were searching. Looking at my little girl just the thought of loosing her breaks my heart.

At least the rain has stopped a little but it still rains now and again. Hope you all have a good weekend now. We have a wedding tomorrow so I hope by then the weather has cleared up a little.
